Kimberly Harkness, BA, CBIS, currently serves as a Care Coordinator at Origami Rehabilitation since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kimberly held the position of Director of Operations at Greater Lansing Food Bank from September 2010 to December 2020, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large warehouse, managing staff, budgets, and external partnerships, while also advocating for hunger education. Kimberly's earlier experience includes roles such as Food Sourcing Manager at Greater Lansing Food Bank and Food Programs Manager at the Food Bank Council of Michigan. Kimberly began a career in program services as District Director at the Muscular Dystrophy Association from May 1996 to January 2000. Educationally, Kimberly holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Therapeutic Recreation from Central Michigan University.
