Magali Amezquita

Director, Event Marketing at Origence

Magali Amezquita has a diverse work experience in event marketing and management. Magali began their career as a Marketing & PR Intern at Boys Hope Girls Hope in 2011. Magali then gained experience in brand PR and marketing as an intern at W Hotels. In 2012, they joined CU Direct, where they held various roles including Senior Executive Assistant, Events & Marketing Specialist, and Experiential Marketing Manager. Their responsibilities in these roles included managing executive operations, planning and executing marketing initiatives and events, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. In 2020, they joined Origence as the Director of Event Marketing.

Magali Amezquita has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a concentration in Communications and Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton. Magali also participated in the International Student Exchange Program at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts. Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Mathematics and Social Science from Mt. San Antonio College.

Magali Amezquita has obtained various certifications, including being a CTSM Candidate (Certified Trade Show Marketer) from Exhibitor Magazine in 2017 and completing a Project Management course from the American Management Association in the same year. Magali also completed the Professional Meeting Planning and Special Events course at California State University, Fullerton in 2016. In 2019, they obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy.
