Dan Shimmin

Dan Shimmin is an experienced executive in the mortgage and real estate sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Mortgage Servicing at Origin Bank since June 2018. Prior to this role, Dan was a Portfolio Management and Business Development Executive at Chronos Solutions, where significant improvements were made in the REO Department. At Selene Finance, LLC, Dan launched the REO practice, resulting in substantial revenue growth and team expansion. Dan's career includes vice president roles at Green River Capital and Select Portfolio Servicing, where extensive management and performance optimization in loss mitigation and REO practices were achieved. Dan began the career as Director of Origination at Founders Mortgage after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Westminster University.
