Alistair Fraser

Alistair Fraser has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alistair currently holds the position of Strategy & Markets Lead - Future Fuels & Carbon at Origin Energy since May 2023. Prior to this, Alistair served as Chair at the Australian Institute of Energy - SA Branch since December 2013. Alistair also worked at KPMG Australia as an Associate Director from October 2020 to May 2023, and as a Manager - Management Consulting from August 2018 to October 2020. Alistair's previous roles include Principal Policy Officer at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (South Australia) from January to July 2018, and Senior Project Officer at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Government of South Australia from March 2016 to January 2018. Furthermore, Alistair has worked as Legal and Approvals | Major Projects at the Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources from November 2014 to March 2016, and as a Key Client Manager - Energy and Resources at Nova Systems from February 2012 to August 2014. Alistair's earlier experience includes working as a Policy and Approvals Officer at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, South Australia from September 2009 to January 2012.

Alistair Fraser began their education at the University of Adelaide in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Politics. Alistair completed this program in 2009. In 2011, Fraser returned to the University of Adelaide to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Water Resource Management, a program they completed in 2013. Continuing their education, Fraser pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Adelaide from 2015 to 2020.
