Kristín Hrefna Halldórsdóttir has a diverse work experience background. Kristín Hrefna started in 2007 as the Executive Director of the City Council faction of the Independence Party. Kristín Hrefna later worked as an Account Manager at Meniga from 2013 to 2018. Subsequently, they held the position of Business Analyst at Valitor from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they became the VP of Business Development at Flow, where they later transitioned to the role of CEO until 2021. Kristín Hrefna also served as a Council Member at The Digital Economist in 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Quality and Purchasing Solutions at Origo Iceland, starting in 2021.
Kristín Hrefna Halldórsdóttir earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government/Stjórnmálafræði from Háskóli Íslands in 2012. Kristín Hrefna furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution in 2014. In April 2021, Kristín also obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
