Matthew Heap

Matthew Heap is a seasoned portfolio manager and advisory board member with extensive experience in commodities trading and investment management. Currently serving as the Metals Portfolio Manager at Orion Commodities Fund LP since January 2016, Matthew oversees operations within the liquid investment division of Orion Resource Partners. Previously, as the Global Head of Metals Proprietary Trading at Louis Dreyfus Commodities, responsible for trading base and precious metals across various markets, Matthew honed expertise in risk management and proprietary trading. Additional roles include an advisory position at StuRents and internships at Commerzbank AG and Aviva Investors, contributing to a strong foundation in finance and investment analysis. Matthew holds an MEng degree in Engineering from Durham University.
