Northeast Division HR Director at Orkin

Karen Bradford has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Karen began their career at Rollins, Inc. in 1997, where they held various HR roles, including Field HR Manager. In this position, they were responsible for all HR responsibilities in the absence of a Division HR Manager. Karen joined Orkin Pest Control in 2001, where they served as a Commercial Division HR Manager, providing HR support to 600+ employees in 47 commercial locations across the US. Karen was responsible for training, compliance, and consulting on various government programs. From 2006 to 2012, Karen worked as a Senior Division HR Manager at Orkin, supporting 1200+ employees in the Northeast Territory. Karen developed policies and procedures, provided guidance, and oversaw personnel, training, and labor relations activities. In 2012, Karen became the Orkin North America HR Director, managing a team of six HR professionals and providing strategic support to the President of Orkin North America. Karen focused on assessing organizational needs, driving change, and developing HR solutions aligned with business objectives. Karen returned to Rollins, Inc. in 2016 as the Rollins Corporate HR Director. In this role, they are an HR business partner to senior executives and provides employee relations support to corporate and call center employees. Karen also oversees the Rollins Employee Relief Fund.

Karen Bradford, MHRM, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Leo University in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their educational qualifications, Karen also possesses the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification obtained from HRCI in March 2000, and the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification obtained from SHRM in March 2015.
