Ricardo Moreira

Ricardo Moreira is an accomplished sports executive with extensive experience in soccer management and operations. From December 2018 to April 2025, Moreira served as General Manager and Sporting Director for Orlando City SC, where significant cultural improvements and a record sale of a collegiate player to Europe were achieved. Prior to this, Moreira held various roles at Columbus Crew SC, including Vice President of Soccer Operations and Technical Director, recognized as a top recruiter following the team's 2020 MLS Cup victory. Moreira’s career also includes positions as Sporting Director at Grêmio Osasco Audax and Partner at Forward Sports, focusing on player transfers and club management within Brazil. Earlier legal experience with Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados involved advising key stakeholders in national and international football contexts. Moreira holds a Diploma in Club Management from FIFA and a Postgraduate Degree from Harvard Business School in the Business of Media, Entertainment, and Sports.
