Christina McGuirk

CNO, Orlando Health, Health Central Hospital & Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital at Orlando Health

Christina McGuirk, MSHA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, is the chief nursing officer for Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital. Along with being on the executive team overseeing nursing services at both facilities, Christina serves as the chair for Orlando Health’s Nursing Leadership Council and the Orlando Health Executive Nursing Cabinet.

She joined Orlando Health more than 25 years ago and has held nursing leadership positions at multiple facilities within the system. Over the past five years, she has assisted in the expansion of Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital’s emergency department and new inpatient bed tower. In addition, Christina guided the hospital toward achieving specialty program accreditations for Chest Pain, Stroke, Heart Failure, Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement, and Spine Center of Excellence by The Joint Commission.

Christina earned her master’s in health services administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She holds executive nursing credentials from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and is an active member of the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
