Wayne Steward Jr.

Wayne Steward, Jr. is an experienced educator with a focus on physical education and history. Currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher for the Orleans Parish School Board since August 2016 and a 6th Grade History Teacher at Mildred Osborne Elementary since July 2015, Wayne has a comprehensive background in sports coaching and physical education. Previous roles include Head Basketball Coach at North Banks Middle School of Excellence and Physical Education Teacher at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Additionally, Wayne has experience coaching running backs and strong safeties at Glen Oaks High School. Wayne holds a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Grambling State University, obtained between 2007 and 2012.
