Declan Smith

Declan Smith has extensive experience in ICT security and network management, currently serving as Global ICT Security Manager at Ornua since October 2020. Prior roles at IBM from August 2007 to May 2020 included positions such as Networking and Security Solution Manager, Cloud Security PMO Program Manager, and Data Security & Privacy Lead. Earlier experience includes roles at Vodafone as CRM Project Manager, and at CLARITY DISTRIBUTION LTD and Logica in technical and managerial capacities. Declan's career began as a Biomedical Research Student at the Ulster University - Northern Ireland Bioengineering Centre. Declan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Systems from Ulster University and a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
