David Pérez Matesanz

David Parsons, P.Eng., is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Colt Canada since December 2023, David previously held the role of Mechanical Engineering Lead at Kenota Health, focusing on medical diagnostic tools from May 2022 to November 2023. Prior to this, David's tenure at Colt Canada included positions as Senior Product Support Engineer and responsibilities that encompassed technical support, design, and testing of firearm components. Additional experience includes a role at Christie Digital Systems as a Product Developer, where design efficiency and team management were key focuses, and a project engineer position at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, overseeing projects related to aerospace control systems. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and has additional qualifications from Camosun College and Conestoga College.
