Carsten Bernauer

Carsten Bernauer is a partner in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where since August 2019, Carsten has advised companies in private equity, venture capital, and listed entities on national and international corporate transactions, particularly in the technology sector, along with corporate restructurings. Prior experience includes roles as Counsel in the Technology Companies Group at Fieldfisher and in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Venture Capital practices, having served as Rechtsanwalt and Senior Associate since February 2017. Carsten's career began at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where Carsten worked as an Associate in the M&A Group from September 2009 to February 2017. Carsten is an alumnus of the University of Münster.
