Conflict Prevention Assistance at ORS Group

Mariam Shonia has extensive experience in diplomatic and consular affairs, currently serving as a conflict prevention assistant at ORS Group since February 2022. Previous roles include First Secretary and Head of Consular Section at the Embassy of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation from 2016 to 2018, where responsibilities encompassed visa issuance, citizenship matters, and cooperation with Swiss and Liechtenstein authorities. Mariam also worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, advancing from Attache in the Department of Diplomatic Protocol to Second Secretary in the Department of Americas, focusing on relations with Caribbean Basin countries and Brazil. Prior experience includes supervisory roles in customer service at zooplus, an internship in public relations at the Human Rights Center, and various positions in journalism and education. Mariam holds a Master's degree in Philology with a specialization in Romance Philology from Tbilisi State University.
