Julie King

Julie King is an experienced professional in the field of NERC compliance, currently serving as the Head of NERC Compliance Americas and Head of Compliance and Reliability at Ørsted since August 2021. Prior to Ørsted, Julie held the position of Manager NERC Compliance, Operations Technology at AVANGRID, Inc. from August 2020 to July 2021 and spent over a decade at AVANGRID, Inc. (formerly Iberdrola USA) in various roles related to NERC Compliance, including Senior Manager, Lead Analyst, and Analyst. Earlier in Julie's career, a tenure at Rochester Gas & Electric involved roles such as Lead Chemist, Technical Director, and Quality Assurance Officer in the Chemistry Laboratory. Julie holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Strathclyde and Universidad Pontificia Comillas, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
