Marc Francke

Marc Francke is a Full Professor of Real Estate Analytics within the Finance Group at the University of Amsterdam Business School, a position held since April 2009. In addition to this role, Marc has served as the Head of Real Estate Research at Ortec Finance since January 2008 and was the managing director of OrtaX from January 2001 to December 2008, focusing on mass appraisal of real estate. Previous academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at VU University Amsterdam from April 2006 to August 2008, and conducting research for Gemeentebelastingen Amsterdam from April 1994 to December 2000, which involved model development for mass appraisal. Marc holds a PhD in Econometrics and a Master's degree in Econometrics, both from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2004 and 1994, respectively.
