Reinier van Den Biggelaar

Reinier van den Biggelaar has a diverse work experience in the fields of AI management, coaching, facilitation, and consulting. Reinier has held various roles such as a course coordinator and facilitator for AI for Managers at the University of Amsterdam, and as a Dean of graduate studies at Amsterdam Tech. Reinier has also worked as a Data Management CDMP at Global Knowledge and as a Course Facilitator at Management Centre Türkiye (MCT) and Meirc Training and Consulting. Additionally, Reinier has experience as the Director of Advanced Analytics & AI at ORTEC - Optimize Your World and as a Partner/Founder of BastaGroup bv, where they focused on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven value creation. Reinier has also served as a Chairman of the day at the Big Data Expo and as a Speaker/Moderator at the AI & Big Data Expo, Europe. Furthermore, Reinier has worked on IoT platform development at Teleena / Tata Communications Connect.

Reinier van den Biggelaar studied at various institutions throughout their education. Reinier attended the Vitus College from 1970 to 1977, followed by Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Kandidaats degree in Bedrijfseconomie. In 1982, they briefly attended the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. Finally, from 1983 to 1985, they studied at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they earned a Drs degree in Bedrijfskunde.
