Christopher Bise PT, DPT, PhD, OCS has held a variety of roles in the healthcare industry over the past two decades. Christopher began their career as a Physical Therapist at UPMC Children's Hospital in 2007 and later worked as a Personal Physical Therapist for HRH Prince Alwaleed at Kingdom Holding Company in 2009-2010. In 2011, Christopher became the Chief Clinical Officer at ORTHOLINKED, a digital health company focused on optimizing the injury recovery process. In 2012, they joined the University of Pittsburgh as an Instructor and Assistant Professor, where they remain today. In 2016, they also served as a Subject Matter Expert for Utilization Management and Review at UPMC Health Plan. Christopher's extensive experience in healthcare and digital technology has made him a valuable asset to the industry.
Christopher Bise received their BS in Health Science from Boston University in 1994. In 1996, they earned their MSPT in Physical Therapy from Boston University's Sargent College. Moving forward to 2007 to 2009, they obtained their tDPT in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions. More recently, they obtained their PhD in Clinical and Translational Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2020, majoring in Comparative Effectiveness, Health Services Research, and Policy Decision Analysis.
