Katie Nelson

Katie Nelson has been working in the dental industry since 2001. Katie began their career as a Registered Dental Hygienist at THE DOWNTOWN DENTAL GROUP/ Grant Park Dental. In 2014, they moved to Joyce Family Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In 2017, they joined Dr. Matt Smith Stone Ridge Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist, where they provided complete care to dental hygiene patients, including but not limited to; blood pressure screenings, medical health screenings, oral cancer screenings, digital radiographs, restorative and periodontal computer charting, general prophylaxis, soft tissue management, scaling and root planing, oral hygiene instruction, nutritional counseling, patient education, treatment planning and presentation, scheduling, local anesthetic. In 2021, they returned to THE DOWNTOWN DENTAL GROUP/ Grant Park Dental as a Practice Manager. Currently, they are a Sales Specialist at Oryx Dental Software.

Katie Nelson attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Dental Hygiene/Hygienist.
