Pedro Bermejo

Pedro Bermejo has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine and neurology. Pedro currently holds the position of Senior Medical Director in Translational Medicine Neurology and Gene Therapy at UCB, where they previously served as a Medical Director. Pedro has also worked as a Medical Consultant at Oryzon Genomics SA and as a Senior Reviewer at Medavante - Prophase.

In 2016, Pedro became the Chief Innovation Officer at Xana Smart Neurostimulation, where they played a key role in designing and developing clinical plans and protocols to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various neurological and psychiatric pathologies. Pedro also served as the Chief Medical Officer and Founding member of Xana Smart Neurostimulation.

Pedro Bermejo has an extensive education history. Pedro started by obtaining a Medical Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1996 to 2002. During this time, they focused on the field of study of Medicine. Following that, from 2002 to 2011, Pedro pursued a PhD in Medicine (Neuroscience) at the same university.

In 2004 and 2005, Pedro obtained a Master's degree in Neuroscience and behavioural biology from Universidad Pablo de Olavide. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in Sleep, physiology and medicine from the same university, but during the years 2007-2008.

From 2003 to 2007, Pedro undertook a Residency in neurology at Puerta de Hierro Hospital. This residency provided valuable practical experience in the field.

Moving forward, Pedro pursued further specialization and obtained a Master's degree in Medical direction from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in 2019. Pedro also obtained a Master's degree in Forensic Medicine from the same university in the same year.

In 2011 and 2012, Pedro participated in a Program in Healthcare Services Direction at Esade.

Currently, Pedro is pursuing an Executive MBA from EAE Business School, with an anticipated completion date of 2023.
