Mike Newman

Mike Newman has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles in the IT field. Mike most recently worked as the IT Transformation Director at OSB Group since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the IT Chief of Staff at the same company from March 2021 to July 2022. Before joining OSB Group, they worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Homestall IT Consultancy Services Ltd from August 2020 to March 2021.

Mike also has experience in leadership roles, having served as the CIO at Hastings Direct from April 2014 to April 2019. During their time there, they oversaw a Data Centre Transformation program, enhancing resilience and reducing business risk. Mike also worked as the CIO/Group IT Director at Towergate Partnership Ltd from February 2004 to December 2013, where they successfully led the IT function during the company's growth period.

Prior to these roles, Mike worked as a Change Management/IT Capability Consultant at Aon from December 2001 to January 2004, where they implemented structured techniques and delivered new business change management processes. Mike also worked as a Change Management Consultant at various companies including American Express, Barclays, J.P.Morgan, Cogent, and Chase Fleming from October 1996 to December 2001.

Before transitioning to the IT field, Mike served as the IT Director at Johnson Fry plc, an Asset Management company, from May 1994 to October 1996. Mike began their career at Kleinwort Benson in various roles from August 1982 to May 1994.

Mike Newman attended The Skinners' School, where they did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study.
