Chief Officer For Learning & Equity at Osborn School District

Abby Potter-Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education. Abby began their career in 2009 as an Elementary Principal at the Madison Metropolitan School District. In this role, Abby managed the school budget, including the Title I federal grant, and was responsible for hiring and supervising a staff of 80. Abby also oversaw the special education and ESL program. Abby's tenure at the district lasted until 2016.

In 2017, Abby joined the Washington Elementary School District as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. During their time there, they played a crucial role in developing and implementing curriculum plans. Abby'srole ended in 2018.

Abby's most recent employment was at the Osborn School District, where they held multiple positions. In 2019, they started as the Chief Officer for Learning & Equity, responsible for improving educational opportunities and equity across the district. Additionally, they held the role of Curriculum Director during the same period, focusing on curriculum development and improvement. Abby'stenure at the Osborn School District is ongoing.

Abby Potter-Davis has a strong education background. Abby obtained two Master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in ESL/Bilingual and Education Leadership & Policy Analysis. Abby completed these degrees from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, Abby has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Curriculum and Instruction and Education Leadership and Policy Analysis from the same university. Abby also holds certifications in Elementary Education, ESL/Bilingual, and Education Leadership (K-12) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained in June 2014.
