Mariah Kelly-Hatcher, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mariah currently serves as the Director of Student Services at Osborn School District, where they are responsible for developing and revising systems to provide equitable experiences to students with special education needs. In this role, they collaborate with service providers, educators, administrators, and the community to offer resources and services. Mariah also takes the lead in hiring professionals who demonstrate integrity and equity for the community.

Before joining Osborn School District, Mariah worked at Teach For America as a Critical Race Pedagogy Consulting Facilitator and a Special Education Learning Facilitator. In these positions, they contributed to promoting critical race pedagogy and provided support for students with special education needs.

Prior to Teach For America, Mariah held several roles at Osborn School District. Mariah served as a School Administrator and Program Director at Montecito Community School, where they oversaw the Social Emotional and Academic Support Program and the Changemakers Alternative Program. Mariah also worked as a TAP Master Teacher/Coach, a Mentor Teacher, and a 7th Grade Language Arts and Math Special Education Teacher at Osborn Middle School.

Additionally, Mariah briefly worked as a High School Equivalency Instructor at Rio Salado College and started their career as a Corps Member at Teach For America.

Mariah Kelly-Hatcher, M.Ed. has a diverse education history. Mariah obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from UC San Diego in 2008-2011. Mariah continued their education at Arizona State University, earning a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from 2011-2013. Mariah further pursued their education at Arizona State University, completing another Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from 2018-2019. In 2021, they attended the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies and received a Montessori Administrator AMI Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mariah Kelly-Hatcher holds multiple certifications. Mariah obtained a Principal, PreK-12 certification from the Arizona Department of Education in February 2021. Mariah also holds certifications in Facilitated IEP from the Arizona Department of Education, Boys Town Behavior Management System from Boys Town, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor from the Crisis Prevention Institute, Qualified Evaluator from the Arizona Department of Education, and Middle Grades English Language Arts from the Arizona Department of Education. Mariah has additional certifications in Middle Grades Mathematics, Special Education Teaching 1-12, Structured English Immersion, and Teacher Advancement Program (TAP) Evaluator, although specific dates of obtaining these certifications were not provided.
