Andrew is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation team. He is an experienced litigator, working on both court cases and arbitration, with market-leading experience in complex cross-border disputes.

Andrew has a particular focus on international enforcement cases and cartel damages claims and has a proven track record of perseverance and innovation. He is referred to in Legal 500 as “an extremely able litigator”, “impressive” and as “combining technical ability with sound commercial awareness”.

Andrew has many years of experience in handling large-scale international disputes, directing and coordinating proceedings in numerous countries working for both corporates and high net worth individuals. He has been involved in numerous appellate judgments on issues of jurisdiction, injunctive relief, enforcement and asset tracing.

Andrew’s innovative approach on past cases has been recognised in the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards and The Lawyer Awards. Andrew’s primary focus is on devising effective litigation strategies that yield results for clients, using his experience of complexity to deliver simplicity.

He joined Osborne Clarke as a Partner in 2013 after working in the commercial litigation practice of Simmons & Simmons for around 10 years. He qualified as an English solicitor in 2004 and is a solicitor advocate (Higher Courts – Civil Proceedings) with experience in the High Court. Andrew has a first class degree in Chemistry and Law.

Andrew regularly speaks and publishes articles on cross-border disputes and has spoken at conferences in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia and Kazakhstan.
