Uwe Brossette specialises in developing and improving complex distribution systems.

He advises clients from the retail and automotive sector on all aspects of commercial law, especially on trade and competition (antitrust) issues.

Among other matters he negotiates dealer and service agreements in the automotive sector and advises leading manufacturer of branded products on the development of their distribution systems.

Uwe qualified as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in 1995 and joined Osborne Clarke as a founding partner of the Cologne office in 2001. He teaches automobile specific distribution law at the University of Applied Science in Geislingen and distribution and competition law at the German Graduate School of Management and Law in Heilbronn.

He has been recognised as one of the leading names in distribution law for several years. In 2013 Osborne Clarke was law firm of the year for commercial and distribution law for the second time after 2008.

Osborne Clarke was awarded JUVE law firm of the year for use of Sales, Commerce and Logistics in 2017.
