Ann Pendergast

Ann Pendergast is a Certified Genetic Counselor at OSF HealthCare since July 2023, providing education, risk assessment, and support for patients with various genetic concerns. Ann has a robust educational background with a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Indiana State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Benedictine University. In addition to current work, Ann has experience as a Tutor at Moraine Valley Community College since 2013, where instructional materials and technical support were provided for students transitioning to online learning. Previous positions include Genomic Client Specialist at Blueprint Genetics, where effective communication with clients was essential, and diverse roles in environmental education and research. Ann's skills in tutoring, writing consultation, and research support are complemented by hands-on experience in environmental conservation and product development.
