Dale Jessop has extensive work experience in various roles within the automotive industry. Dale started their career at General Motors as a Dimensional Control Supervisor, overseeing programming and statistical analysis. Dale then moved on to Valeo, where they worked as an Electrical Buyer. Later, they joined Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems as a Motor Buyer and Bearing Buyer, responsible for global portfolio purchases and maintaining annual savings. At Ford Motor Company, they served as the Forging/Clutch Buyer, managing a global portfolio purchase of over $200 million. Dale then joined Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama as a Parts Development Specialist, responsible for purchasing engine components and ensuring cost management, program launch timing, and quality. Following that, they worked at Blue Bird Corporation in various roles, including Purchasing - Global Sourcing Specialist, Category Lead - Electrical, and Purchasing - Warranty Manager. Currently, they are working at Oshkosh Corporation as a Supplier Quality - Principal Engineer, NPD and previously served as the Commodity Manager - Chassis.

Dale Jessop has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Dale also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Pre-Engineering, from Michigan Technological University, completed between 1985 and 1988. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering from Delta College, from 1983 to 1985. Dale Jessop is certified as a Supply Chain Professional by the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), which they achieved in 2024.
