Steve Wagester

Steve Wagester has a comprehensive work experience in engineering and management positions. Steve started their career in 1996 as a Design Engineer at Champion Motor Coach before transitioning to various engineering roles at Navistar Inc in 1997. At Navistar, they served as the Chief Engineer for Global Vehicle Platform, Chief Engineer for Electrical Power, Ground, and Signal Distribution, Chief Engineer for Electrical Components Engineering, and Senior Program Manager for Electrical/Electronics. Steve then took on leadership positions as an Engineering Program Manager and Engineering Manager for Electrical Systems. In 2013, they became the Director of Electrical/Electronics Engineering, responsible for the vehicle electrical system in all Navistar products. Their role expanded in 2017 when they took on the additional responsibilities of Director of Plant Engineering. Steve is currently employed as the Director of Engineering at Oshkosh Corporation, overseeing the Refuse product line's development and maintenance. This includes various engineering disciplines such as electrical, hydraulics, structural, and testing.

Steve Wagester earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1996. Steve later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General, at Indiana University from 1999 to 2001.
