Glenn Grindstaff is the Chief Human Resources Officer at OSI Systems. Glenn has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, and has been with OSI Systems since January 2010. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at L3 Technologies from January 2010 to December 2019.

As a member of the executive team at L3 Technologies, Grindstaff was responsible for leading and managing the human resources, security, and environmental health and safety organizations. Glenn oversaw organizational design and development, executive coaching, strategic planning, talent management and talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, training and development, compensation, HR systems, and labor and employee relations.

During their time at L3 Technologies, Grindstaff led a successful consolidation and organizational restructuring effort and top-graded the leadership team, resulting in improved organizational effectiveness, efficiency, growth, and profitability. Glenn also negotiated multiple collective-bargaining agreements and improved labor relations by reducing grievance and arbitration activity by 92% and labor relations expenses by over $2 million. In addition, they led the consolidation and merger of two major divisions into one, resulting in improved organizational effectiveness, efficiencies, cost savings, and reduction of labor costs by 35%.

In addition to their work at L3 Technologies, Grindstaff also oversaw the talent acquisition effort to recruit over 250 employees from multiple disciplines in 12 months. Glenn negotiated a $900,000 contract for state government reimbursement through State Employment Training Panel (ETP) for training and development programs, improving organizational effectiveness, employee development, profitability, and performance. Glenn also improved employee retention and performance with the development and introduction of a competitive compensation model, performance management system, and reward and recognition plan.

Grindstaff has been instrumental in the implementation of several programs that have improved the effectiveness of OSI Systems. Glenn implemented a change-management program that enabled the organization to embrace and successfully implement and transition to Lean methodologies and principles. Glenn also established relations with several universities and implemented best-in-class internship and college recruiting programs. Finally, they implemented talent management, leadership development, and succession planning programs that have resulted in the successful identification and development of key contributors and high-potential employees.

Glenn Grindstaff has a BA in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
