Jimmy Qian is the Co-founder and COO at Osmind, a company that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to power personalized mental health. Jimmy is also a Medical Research Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they work on projects across digital health, augmented reality, medical education, and anesthesiology.
In addition to their work at Osmind and Stanford, Jimmy is also the co-founder of the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program (ASDRP), a nonprofit research institute that enables high school students to conduct high-level scientific research. ASDRP has been featured in the news and partners with local schools and multiple biotechs. Students regularly publish peer-reviewed papers with their novel discoveries.
Bootstrapped to $1M+ annual revenue, multiple partnerships with biotechs, and 500+ students each year, ASDRP is an active and rapidly growing organization.
Jimmy Qian attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they received a B.A. in Biophysics and Biochemistry, summa cum laude. Jimmy was also the valedictorian of their high school class. Jimmy is currently on leave from Stanford University School of Medicine, where they are pursuing an M.D. Jimmy is also a member of Y Combinator's 2020 cohort.
