Senior Director of Institutional Engagement at Osmosis

Catherine Johnson is the current Senior Director of Institutional Engagement at Osmosis. Catherine has over 10 years of experience in instructional design, curricular design, and education technology. Prior to joining Osmosis, they were a self-employed editorial and instructional systems design consultant from August 2018 to April 2020. During that time, they worked with clients such as the American Medical Women's Association, the Laura W. Bush Institute, CaseNetwork, Lifestyle Medicine Education (LMEd), MedQuest Reviews, the Travis Manion Foundation, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Catherine Johnson earned their Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University's Graduate School of Education and Human Development, with a focus in Educational Technology Leadership. Catherine also holds a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from the same school, in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. Her Bachelor of Arts was earned from The George Washington University as well, with a major in English Literature and minors in Psychology and Creative Writing. Catherine Johnson is also certified by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) in Human Research: Social & Behavioral Researchers Basic Course.
