Akin Adekile is a hard surface artist who has worked for companies such as Wevr, Netflix, Pearl Studio, and JibJab Bros. Studios. Akin began their career as a landscape designer but quickly transitioned into the world of digital art. Akin has been working as a freelance modeler since 2012 and has been steadily building their portfolio ever since. In 2017, they landed a job at Industrial Light & Magic, where they worked on creating computer-generated models of solar systems. After a year at ILM, they moved to Blur Studio and then to Method Studios before finally landing at their current position at Osso VR.
Akin Adekile received a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of Georgia. Akin then went on to study Modelling and Texturing at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation.
Akin Adekile reports to Jeremy Hollingsworth, Lead Hard Surface Artist. They work with Fernando Cruz - Associate Hard Surface Artist, Michael Banks - Hard Surface Artist, and Sabrina Marcum - Associate Hard Surface Artist.
