Joshua Faulkner

Joshua Faulkner is currently a Partner Success Associate at Osso VR. Prior to this, they held positions of Operations at Osso VR, Marketing and Graphic Artist at Big Fish, and System/Network Administrator, 3d Modeler, and Support Data Engineer at Ballena Technologies.

Joshua has a wide range of skills and experience in different areas. As a Marketing and Graphic Artist at Big Fish, they were responsible for automating the image creation process for up to 700 unique images weekly, as well as animation using After Effects and Photoshop. Joshua also created illustrations for advertisements, designed web assets using game art, and localized art for 8 different languages by updating web art and videos.

As a System/Network Administrator, 3d Modeler, and Support Data Engineer at Ballena Technologies, Joshua was responsible for deploying a 140 computer network, setting up and maintaining Ubuntu 12.04 based servers for web testing and tool creation, creating domain controllers and backup servers with Windows 2012 server edition r2, setting permissions and managing Active Domain, running and creating batch scripts to optimize network fixing needs, and employing Clonezilla for backing up of computer images. Joshua was also responsible for building DRBL server for faster more efficient Cloning of images. In addition, Joshua built venues from the ground up based on blueprints, mapping services, and camera passes as a 3d Modeler. Joshua utilized scripts to place seats inside venues according to client based manifests, placed splines, and the logistics of provided blueprints. Joshua also textured geometry for realistic looking 3d models and employed Backburner for large render files. Lastly, as a Support Data Engineer, Joshua updated spreadsheets indicating seat placement in Excel (formulas, vlookup, etc..) according to client needs and the needs of the venue, validated data according to information provided, and maintained Database using PhpMyAdmin, Apache, and MySQL, Samba, and SSH.

Joshua Faulkner is a skilled individual with experience in a variety of areas including marketing, graphic design, animation, web design, localization, system administration, network administration, 3d modeling, and support data engineering. Joshua is currently a Partner Success Associate at Osso VR but has held positions at various companies throughout their career thus far.

Joshua Faulkner has a Bachelors of Fine Art from The Art Institutes and a Certification from Gainsight in Gainsight NXT Associate Administrator Certificate (Level 1). Joshua is currently pursuing their degree at the University of West Georgia in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.
