Monica G. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Monica is currently working as a Lead Product Process Management at Össur since October 2022. In their previous role as Lead Product Marketing Manager (Emerging Markets) at Össur from July 2020 to October 2022, Monica mentored and led a team while establishing processes to increase efficiency in product marketing management and across functional teams.

Prior to Össur, Monica worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Global Marketing Manager and Business Unit Partner - Life Science from July 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they led the marketing production team, developed marketing strategies for the product line, and led new product launches.

Monica G. completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Honors in Marketing/Economics from Lingnan University in 2012. Additionally, they pursued a short-term program in Management with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services at fachhochschule Kufstein University of Applied Science in 2011. Prior to that, Monica obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse along with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Administration from Universidad Nacional de Colombia between 2004 and 2008. Monica also participated in the Hong Kong Model United Nations (HKMUN). Monica has obtained several certifications, including the Össur leadership development program from LEAD (Leadership & Mentoring Seminar) in 2020, Agile Portfolio and Program Management (ICP-PPM) from ICAgile in 2020, Project Management from Fresenius Medical Care North America in 2017, and various certifications in events management, marketing operations, and people management from the Hong Kong Management Association in 2015.
