Sarah Horton started their work experience at Touch Bionics in 2005 as a Finishing Technician and later took on roles as a Finishing Supervisor and Finishing & Painting Supervisor. From 2005 to 2014, they also worked as a Customer Care Specialist for Livingskin Products. In 2014, they became a Livingskin Business Development Specialist. In 2017, they joined Össur as the Livingskin Global Business Development & Customer Service Lead.

Sarah Horton earned their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institutes, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Frontier Central High School from 1996 to 2000.
