Trevor Jones

Trevor Jones is the Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service at Otelco. Trevor has held this position for 6 months. Prior to joining Otelco, Trevor was with OTELCO for 6 years and 6 months, where they served as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, Director of Marketing, Sales and Product Development, and Director of Marketing and Product Development. Trevor was responsible for all revenue generation activities for a multi-state, publicly traded telecommunications provider operating in 7 states. Trevor also directed marketing and sales for a $80 million telecommunications company.

Before joining OTELCO, Trevor was with GWI for 5 years and 7 months, where they served as Vice President of Business Development, Director of Marketing and Product Development, and Director of Carrier Services and Product Development. In their role as Vice President of Business Development, Trevor was responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing programs and overseeing new product development from inception to deployment. Trevor also coordinated public relations, marketing and government relations activities to ensure that GWI speaks with a consistent voice in all communications. As Director of Marketing and Product Development, Trevor managed the corporate brand, business and residential product lines, and business and residential marketing programs. In their role as Director of Carrier Services and Product Development, Trevor managed carrier and wholesale sales for GWI's commercial services division in addition to developing new products for the division, including wholesale VoIP local service, and Hosted IP PBX services for business customers.

Prior to joining GWI, Trevor was with Zone Telecom for 1 year and 4 months as Vice President of Marketing. Before that, they were with Country Road Communications for 8 years and 9 months as Director of Marketing and Business Development. Trevor also spent 8 years and 9 months with Pine Tree Networks as Director of Marketing and Business Development. Trevor began their career with Global Valley Networks as Director of Marketing, where they spent 1 year and 3 months.

Trevor Jones has a University of Southern Maine degree in Business Administration from 1992-2000. Trevor has a Master Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of San Francisco from 2011-2011. Trevor also has an Architectural Design degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1989-1991. In addition, Trevor is a certified bourbon taster from Whiskey University and a certified bourbon steward from Stave & Thief Society. Trevor also has HubSpot certification from HubSpot and Inbound certification from HubSpot.
