Ana Rabaça

Ana Rabaça has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ana began their career in 2011 as a Research Trainee at IBMC.INEB Associate Laboratory. In 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Trainee at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto. From 2014 to 2015, Ana served as a Master Thesis Student and Science Instructor at ICBAS- Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar.

In 2015, Ana joined Science4you as an Entertainment Specialist and later became a Commission Sales Associate. Ana then transitioned to the retail industry, joining Stone by Stone as a Retail Specialist in 2016. In 2018, they were promoted to Store Manager, where they led a team and focused on driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

In 2021, Ana moved into the luxury furniture and design industry, working as a Sales Developer at Boca do Lobo and MidCentury Group within Covet Group. Ana played a critical role in generating new business opportunities and provided interior design advice to clients. Later in 2022, Ana became the Market Manager for the Asia and Oceania markets at Covet Group, where they managed accounts, generated sales, and identified new growth opportunities.

Most recently, Ana worked at GlassDollar in 2022 as a Sales Development Representative, where they utilized their sales and marketing expertise to drive client acquisition and generate new business opportunities.

In October 2022, Ana joined Otonomee as a Business Developer, where they continue to apply their skills and experience to help drive the company's growth.

Ana Rabaça obtained a Master's degree in Medicine and Molecular Oncology from the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Universidade do Porto, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Ana has also acquired several certifications. These include the "Improve Your English Communication Skills Specialization," "Take Your English Communication Skills to the Next Level," "Speak English Professionally: In Person, Online & On the Phone," and "Write Professional Emails in English" from Coursera, all obtained in 2021. Ana also holds a certification in "Sharpened Visions: A Poetry Workshop" from the California Institute of the Arts, achieved in 2021. Other certifications they have acquired include "Introduction to Genomic Technologies" from Coursera in 2015, "Programa de Formação de Monitores da Universidade Júnior" from the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto in 2015, "Statement of Accomplishment in Ethical and Social Challenges of Genomic and Precision Medicine (UCSF)" from Coursera in 2014, and "Curso em Oncobiologia do Diagnóstico ao Tratamento do Cancro" from the Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto in 2012. Additionally, Ana holds language certifications, including a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in 2011, a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge in 2009, and a First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge in 2008. Ana also completed a French Summer Course at the Instituto de Línguas de Gondomar in 2003.
