Esther Dapaah

Esther Dapaah is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Environmental Health Officer and Site Commander with the City of Ottawa since May 2021, where responsibilities include leading COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Prior roles include Research Team Lead at Hospice Palliative Care Ontario and Public Health Inspector with the County of Simcoe. Esther has also worked as an Infection Control Associate and Pandemic Screener at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, actively engaging in COVID-19 screening protocols. Additional experience includes private tutoring and educational consulting with Tutor Doctor, and supervisory roles at Metro Inc. Esther completed a Master of Public Health from Brock University and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction from Ryerson University. Early public health experiences include student positions with Niagara Region, focusing on public health inspections and environmental monitoring.
