Jillian Steele

Jillian Steele is an experienced training and educational development professional with a diverse background spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as an Operational Trainer for the City of Ottawa, Jillian designs and develops training strategies for the Financial and Corporate Services Department, and previously held a role as a Learning and Development Specialist focusing on corporate initiatives. With prior experience as a Specialist in Educational Development and Digital Learning at the University of Ottawa, Jillian has expertise in creating pedagogical training and online resources. Additional roles include Curriculum Development Advisor at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Project Leader at the Canadian Museum of Nature, and Distance Learning Educator at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Jillian holds a Master of Science in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the University of Calgary and a College-Approved Certificate in Online Learning Design and Delivery from Algonquin College.
