Marlene Alt

Marlene Alt is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in marketing, communications, and project management across various sectors, including arts and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer for the City of Ottawa since June 2021, Marlene has held significant roles such as Director of Corporate Marketing at BluWave-ai and a marketing consultant for multiple organizations. Notable achievements include managing communications at Rockport Networks and coordinating a Canada-wide dance mapping study for the Canada Council for the Arts. Marlene holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Western University, along with involvement in geology studies.
