Diane Pernari

Diane Pernari, MA, currently serves as the General Manager of Communications and Public Relations at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) since October 2009, leading a team in strategic communications, media relations, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Global Employee and Organizational Communications at Nortel, and Director and Manager of Employee Communications at Canada Post. Diane holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communications from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Queen's University, along with certifications in Human Resource Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, Executive Development from the Schulich School of Business - York University, and a background in Psychology from McMaster University.
