Dave Z.

Dave Z has a long-standing career in law enforcement, currently serving as Superintendent in the Ottawa Police Service. Dave has held various roles within the organization, including Critical Incident Commander, Platoon/Duty Inspector, and Inspector of Recruiting, Learning, and Development. Dave Z is also experienced in Diversity and Race Relations, overseeing the Diversity and Race Relations Section in the Community Development Directorate. With a background as a Police Constable at the Toronto Police Service, Dave Z has extensive education in policing studies, terrorism safety and security, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution. Dave is dedicated to promoting equity, inclusion, and strategic relationship building within the police force and the community.
