Adrian Benjamin, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience. Adrian started their career as a Member of the Board of Directors at Eastern Credit Union Corporative Society Ltd from 2007 to 2010. Adrian went on to work as a Corporate Communications Consultant at The Power Generation Company of Trinidad & Tobago Ltd for over 20 years. Adrian then served as the Communications & Outreach Manager at the Occupational Safety and Health Agency of Trinidad and Tobago from 2011 to 2013. Adrian later became a Store Manager at Constellation Brands Canada from 2014 to 2015. Adrian then worked as a Brand Ambassador at In-TAC (International Talent Acquisition Centre) from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Adrian is serving as a Director at Ottawa Safety Council.

Adrian Benjamin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Andrews University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Education (BSc.) at Andrews University from 2001 to 2005, with a minor in Communication. Adrian also acquired an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Andrews University, which they earned from 2000 to 2002.

The Ottawa Safety Council's mission is to deliver best-in-class road safety programs and services, education, training and awareness throughout our community to drive down the number of road incidents in our community Founded as a not-for-profit, non-government organization in 1957, The root of all we do is delivering programs that prevent road accidents for all road users, no matter how traveled We deliver curriculum based pedestrian and bike safety programs in Elementary schools, ensure school zone safety through our adult crossing guards at over 200 locations, promote active lifestyles through the walking school bus program and teach children how to cycle safely. We have been delivering our motorcycle instruction programs, and licensing riders on behalf of MTO for over 50 years. We even protect our most vulnerable riders through our Best Fit car seat program. Our passion lies in advocating for road safety and sharing best practices that reduce accidents and raise awareness across all ages; and the role we can all play in driving, walking and riding safely.
