Amy Tector is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Strategic Advisor at Library and Archives Canada, where responsibilities include coordinating relationships with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, as well as managing enhancements in archival search features. With a rich background at Library and Archives Canada since 2016, Amy has held various strategic and leadership roles, including Acting Director of Access to Information and Litigation Response and Manager of Online Content and Copyright. In addition to extensive work in the public sector, Amy contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Ottawa University and a Contract Instructor at Carleton University. Amy's educational credentials include a PhD in English Language and Literature from Université libre de Bruxelles and two advanced degrees (MA) from Western University, along with a BA from Acadia University.
