Dmitry O. Gorodnichy

Dmitry O. Gorodnichy is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science. Currently serving as Chair of the By-Laws & Policies Committee at PIPSC IPFPC and Senior Data Scientist at Canada Border Services Agency since 2008, Dmitry has contributed significantly to data engineering and scientific research within the agency. In academia, Dmitry holds adjunct professor positions at Ottawa University and Ecole de Technologie Superieure, and has previously held teaching roles at Dalhousie University. Dmitry co-founded IVIM Inc., where innovative video recognition technology was developed, and has held various positions at the National Research Council Canada and other institutions. With a strong educational background, including two Ph.D. degrees, and expertise in machine learning, video analytics, and biometric systems, Dmitry is recognized for leading impactful research and collaboration initiatives.
