Peter Jacobsen

Peter Jacobsen has extensive experience in the field of economics and education. Peter is currently serving as the Interim Director of Graduate Business Programs at Ottawa University, where they also hold the position of Assistant Professor of Economics. Additionally, Jacobsen is the Gwartney Professor of Economic Education and Research at the Gwartney Institute at Ottawa University. Prior to their current roles, they worked as a PHD Fellow at the Mercatus Center Academic & Student Programs.

Peter Jacobsen obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Southeast Missouri State University in 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from George Mason University, completing them in 2018 and 2020 respectively.
