Michael Hermenault

Michael Hermenault is a software engineer who currently works for OtterTune. Prior to joining OtterTune, Michael worked as a software developer for Capital One from February 2020 to March 2021. While at Capital One, Michael developed an API to deliver Spark PaaS. Michael also created 16 endpoints and pioneered automated API testing using Postman on their team. In addition, they worked daily with multiple AWS services, including S3, RDS, EMR, Lambda, and ALB.

Before working at Capital One, Michael was an IT analyst at PPG Industries from May 2018 to August 2018. While at PPG, they took calls at the International Service Desk and completed 25 calls per day. Michael also developed Powershell scripts to automate common debugging tasks.

From January 2018 to February 2020, Michael was a teaching assistant at the University of Pittsburgh.
