Sagi Ben-Akiva

Sagi Ben-Akiva has held a variety of positions in the software engineering and technology industries since 2003. Sagi began their career as a System Administrator for the Student Association at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, followed by a role as a Software Technical Leader at Silicon Graphics Inc. in 2004. In 2006, they were a Software Tech Lead at GraphTech Computer Systems, and in 2011 they were a Senior Software Engineer at Check Point Software Technologies. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Team Lead & Senior Principal Software Engineer at Redbend, and from 2014 to 2017 they were the CTO at imp computer. From 2017 to 2021, they were the VP of Technology and Technical Lead at Aurora Labs, and since 2021 they have been a Senior Software Architect acting VP R&D at Ottopia and BSP and Android Lead at Intuition Robotics.

Sagi Ben-Akiva studied Computer Science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bsc degree. Sagi then studied Information System at Bar-Ilan University from 2009 to 2011, earning an MBA. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Gymnasia Realit.
