Dylan Owens

Dylan Owens, MPH, serves as the D.C. Market Lead at Ounce, a VC-backed organization dedicated to enhancing community health through a worker-led model, impacting over 6,000 residents in affordable housing across Washington D.C. Additional roles include Community Advisory Board Member for American University's Equitable Food Systems project and Research Analyst at McFarland & Associates Inc., where involvement ranges from literature reviews to grant proposals and clinical trial recruitment. With a background in community health as a former Community Health Worker for the African American Health Program, project management experience, and behavioral health roles, Dylan has developed a well-rounded expertise in public health initiatives. Academic achievements include a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's in Health Professions from James Madison University, complemented by significant experience in athletics as a student-athlete.
