Colleen McDonald has a diverse range of work experience. Colleen is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at Our Family Services since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona for a significant period, starting in August 2009. During their time there, they held two roles, starting as the Director of Operations until August 2017 and then transitioning to the role of Director of Staff Supported Programs until February 2023. Colleen also has experience as the Business Office and Project Manager at A Road 2 Learning from January 2008 to July 2009. Colleen'searliest role was as a Cluster Manager at Resources for Human Development from January 2002 to January 2005.

Colleen McDonald completed their high school education from Staples High School between 1991 and 1993. Colleen then attended The Meeting School from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a High School degree. Colleen further pursued their education at Goddard College from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Additionally, in 1998, Colleen briefly attended the School for International Training, where they focused on Peace and Conflict Studies, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.

Our Family Services

Our Family is a Southern Arizona-based nonprofit providing services to people in every stage of life. Our Family's mission is to eliminate homelessness and strengthen our community. We do this by: - providing stability in times of crisis - linking people to support and resources - supporting social connectedness - engaging our neighbors to tackle tough community issues. Services include: counseling; mediation; information and referral; shelter and support for homeless children, youth and families; and services for elders and adults with disabilities. Our Family's programs include: Counseling -- General counseling in English or Spanish for adults, teens, children, couples or families. Short-term therapy for relationship or parenting issues, grief and loss, addictions, behavioral or school difficulties, or life transitions. Call 323-1708 x 204.
